School Days Program. . . called the “perfect” field trip by area teachers.
The Apple Mountain School Days Program is designed to introduce students to a winter sport activity they can enjoy throughout their lives. Skiing and snowboarding are “individual” sports – no sitting the bench – everyone plays. Each student is continually challenged to do his or her best – literally learning at “their own speed." Students receive a safety orientation by a representative of the National Ski Patrol plus an overview of what they can expect on the slopes from our own Snowsports Coordinator. Beginner lessons are part of the overall experience and provide students with the confidence to ski or snowboard safely on their very first day on the slopes.
The $14 Ski Package includes a lift ticket, ski equipment and a beginner lesson. The $32 Snowboard Package also includes a lift ticket, snowboard rental and a beginner lesson. Teachers receive a complimentary lift and rental pass. For more information, please call 989-921-9534.
